iPads for K3-2nd grade

Please help us reach our goal of a 1:1 ratio of iPads for our students in K3-2nd grade. Students use iPads for Project Lead the Way, Zearn Math, and IXL, to name a few of the programs used in our classrooms. We currently have 48 iPads that are shared between five classrooms. This means that the teachers need to take into account four other classroom schedules when they are making their classroom schedule, especially when it comes to using the iPads. With your support, we can reach our 1:1 goal and every classroom can have its own iPads.

Description

Over the past two years, we have learned the importance of having a 1:1 ratio of devices (iPads and Chromebooks) for our students. The use of technology in school continues to grow. Our students in K3-2 use iPads for Project Lead the Way, Zearn Math, and IXL to name a few of the programs. We currently share 48 iPads between five classes. This means there is a lot of sharing devices and juggling of schedules to accommodate other classrooms’ schedules. To address this challenge, Saint Lucas Lutheran School is focusing on raising funds to purchase more iPads so that our students in K3-2nd grade can each have their own device to use. Please consider helping us reach our goal of 1:1 iPads in grades K3-2.
